Preparation and follow up
I work with the course sponsor to carry our detailed pre-course questionnaires, and sometimes interviews, before any media training course I run.
I also ensure that each delegate receives an honest appraisal of their strengths and weaknesses and suggestions for further training following courses – this can be coupled with follow up ‘refresher’ telephone interviews if required.
Where appropriate, delegates will also receive a handbook of checklists and easy-to-use reference guides for use following the course, so that the lessons last long after the workshop.
