Charging
I am happy to discuss projects and programmes and agree a rate to suit. I prefer this approach, as everything I do is tailored to the client and the situation, and I believe the rates I charge should reflect that.
I agree with clients upfront what a programme, project or training course is likely to cost in terms of my time (fee) and potential ‘bought-in’ expenses (costs) and provide regular reports against the budget to ensure fees and costs are contained.
To keep things simple, I charge a flat fee to cover operational costs (telephone, email, printing, stationery etc), unless a project requires heavy investment in materials in which case I’ll charge per item (agreed upfront with the client).
I agree a mileage rate upfront with my clients as well as handling fee to cover ‘bought-in’ costs, such as design or print.
I am VAT registered.
